Dear Fellow Rotarians, Welcome to the official start of the 2008-2009 Rotary year! I hope you all know how excited I am to serve as your Governor and to serve with you, as a fellow Rotarian. I am also excited to bring you our monthly district newsletter “The Real Deal” which will be sent to you via email and posted on this website. Each newsletter will be packed with Rotary information that is aimed to be useful, inspirational and fun! I hope you find it valuable and share it with many others. Throughout the years, the Rotarians of this district have been involved in many amazing humanitarian efforts, touching so many lives. During the 2008-2009 year I am confident that our humanitarian efforts will not only continue, but will soar to new heights. I believe this because I have seen your enthusiasm! I have seen your drive! I have seen your “Rotary Spirit” and I am inspired to serve, in Rotary, with you all! Together we can build goodwill; we can work towards peace and a Polio free world; we can achieve great things for our communities, our nation, and for all of mankind. Together, as Rotarians, we can change lives… and we will Make Dreams Real! Yours, In Rotary Service, District Governor Mary Berge
