Resources for running a club

2008-2009 RI Theme
Below is a wealth of information , ideas, and tools to make your year as Club President more effective, more rewarding and easier.
The links that are highlited with a red first letter indicate items that were discussed at the Pre-PETS
- Planning Guide for Effective Rotary Clubs This is the same as pages 123 to 130 in your booklet. However, this is a Word Document that you can fill out on your computer before printing it out. This way you don't have to mess with the pages in your book
- Club Calendar This is an Excel Sheet that has five tabs. Find the tab that corresponds to the meeting day of your Rotary Club. You can keep it in electronic form, or you can print it. An easy way to keep it handy is to print it front & back on one piece of paper. If the different tabs seem confusing, just delete the ones that do not pertain to your club.
- Club Committee List This is also an Excel Sheet. It's the same information we're asking for on the set of two stapled yellow papers. As we ran short of these forms, I have also attached the Word version of the form.
- The Club President’s Manual (PDF) provides information about roles and responsibilities, club administration, the constitution and bylaws, and much more.
- TRF Club Goal Form Please work with your current Club President/Board to get these figures as accurate as possible. We would like to challenge you to increase the amounts from year to year. This goes to George Wood
- The Club President’s Monthly Checklist (PDF) helps you plan and monitor club activities and deadlines on a monthly basis.
- Club President Roles and Responsibilities presentation (PowerPoint)
- PETS discussion questions (PDF)
- The Guide for Effective Rotary Clubs (Word) is based on the Club Leadership Plan and helps clubs assess their current state and establish goals for the coming year.
- Preparing for PETS presentation (PowerPoint) provides resources to use before attending PETS.

- The Retention Model is a tool that clubs and districts can use to identify their retention strengths and weaknesses.
